If you’re leaving the island around 3-4 pm there might be a long queue for the ferry
However there’s not that many people so it’s pretty quiet
There’s a small playground right next to the beach so it’s a good place to go if you’re with kids (play with sand <-> playground again again again again and again)
How to get to Jangbong Island :
1. Search for 인천삼목선착장(55, Yeongjonghaeanbuk-ro 847beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon) on your navigation system
There’s a ferry once every hour or but since we have two kids we usually can't seem to make it to the ferry on time so we just go and wait, but the wait doesn't seem that long since you can take pictures at the pier while waiting
2. When you arrive at the port “Ajeossis” at the parking lot will guide you where to queue with your car (If you're going to Jangbong Island they will put a little yellow marker on your front window to mark that you're going to Jangbong instead of Sindo)
3. While the car is being guided one person will need to get out of the car to buy tickets for the ferry (you need IDs of everyone in the car for ticketing! For minors you can show passports) (Don't forget to buy a bag of 새우깡 to feed to the wild geese while you're on the ferry!!)
4. after you're done getting your tickets go back to the car and wait in line until the Ajessis lead you onto the boat
5. The ferry will stop first at Sindo and some of the cars will get out there. Then the ferry will continue onto Jangbong Island (It takes about about 10 minutes from 삼목 to 신도 and about 20 minutes more to get to Jangbong)
6. Once you get off at Jangbong Island, search for 옹암해변(Jangbong-ri, Bukdo-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon)
